International Conference: 40th Anniversary of the NORDIC FOLKECENTER FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY (1983 – 2023)

In 2023 the Folkecenter will be 40 years old! To celebrate this event, an international conference on renewable energy will be organised from 21 to 25 June.

Accommodation must be organised in advance.
Pick-up from the train station must also be organised.

The Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy is an independent Danish non-profit organisation working for 100% renewable energy for the whole world.
Their long-term goal is to completely replace fossil fuels and nuclear power with renewable energy and energy savings while promoting sustainability, resilience and development of local communities around the world. Therefore, the Folkecenter works with local civil society organisations, research and training centres, businesses, professionals and government agencies from around the world. The Folkecenter is part of international networks, including partners in Western and Eastern Europe, in developing countries and in the Global South. The Folkecenter is a member of the European Renewable Energy Centres Agency (EUREC) and the Forum for Energy and Development (FED). The Folkecenter is a founder and active member of the World Wind Energy Association (WWEA), the European Association for Renewable Energy (EUROSOLAR), the European Renewable Energies Federation (EREF) and the International Network for Sustainable Energy (INFORSE).
